Etiquette

· Wash and rinse fully at the seated showers before entering the bath.
· No swimwear. A small modesty towel is fine but does not go in the water.
· Many onsen still restrict guests with visible tattoos. Look for tattoo friendly baths or use a cover patch.
· Tie up long hair. Do not photograph in the bath area.
