Oishi Park
About this viewpoint
Oishi Park lines the north shore of Lake Kawaguchiko with seasonal flower beds and an unobstructed view of Fuji across the water. The combination of lavender foreground and snow capped peak in late June is one of the most published images of the region.

Beat the buses
First sightseeing bus arrives around 09:00. Self drive or taxi before sunrise for the lake to yourself.
Photographer tips
- Arrive by 06:30 for the calmest lake surface.
- The on-site cafe opens at 09:00, useful for a warm drink after sunrise.
- Cycle the shoreline path back to the station for the full lake circuit.
