FAQ

Common questions

How many days do I need to do the Fuji bucket list?

Most travellers can comfortably tick 6-8 items in a 4-day trip based in Kawaguchiko, plus the Shinkansen view on the way back. Climbing requires an extra dedicated day-and-night.

When is the best season for the most items?

Late April to mid May combines sakura, shibazakura, clear skies and snow still on the summit. The most photogenic single window of the year.

Do I need a guide?

Most items are self-guided. A guide adds value for climbing in season, helicopter tours and Diamond Fuji timing.
